| 1934 Austin 10/4 Lichfield
|
This is a ready to use example of the ever popular Ausin 10/4, taxed and tested.
A body-off restoration was carried out 10 years ago (photos of the rebuild come with the car) along with a complete engine overhaul in 2008. The car has been totally reupholstered - very well done, complete with rear window blind, very comfortable seats and the steering wheel is in excellent condition, all making this a superb car to drive.
Everything works, good wheels and tyres, excellent chassis, body and running gear, restored sunroof in splendid working order - a very usable motor car and probably the best driving Austin 10 we have had.
We can deliver at reasonable rates to most destinations in mainland Britain, and are always happy to consider part-exchange for other pre-war cars.

1934 Austin 7 Van
|
This is a delightful Austin 7 box van, registered early 1934. It has always been a van, and this has been confirmed by the records held by the Pre-war Austin 7 Club.
It has been restored, including new bodywork to the rear, has good upholstery, and the chassis is in excellent order.
The engine was rebuilt in 2008, at a cost of around £4,000, and the wiring has been renewed. The wheels and tyres are all excellent, unfortunately, the gearbox is a little noisy. MoTd until May 2012 and taxed until April 2012.
As I am sure you are aware, genuine Austin 7 vans rarely come onto the market. We would love to take another pre-war Austin in part-exchange, and will deliver within reason within mainland Britain.
This car is not available for export as we would like to see it stay in the UK and we would like to find a good, private new home.

1937 Morris 8 Series 2
|
A very original car, in excellent, sound condition.
The body panels and chassis are all very good - the radiator has been stripped of its paint and looks quite nice, but should really be black. The upholstery and sunroof are original and show the appropriate signs of wear for the age of the car. If you want an old car to look like a lovely old car, then this is probably the one for you.
This car drives, runs and stops very well, its oil pressure is good, everything works, even the semaphores.
An all round excellent car.
We can deliver at reasonable rates to most mainland Britain destinations, and we are always happy to consider part-exchange for other pre-war cars.

1935 Austin 7 Box Saloon
|
This car was built in late 1934 and registered in 1935.
In need of restoration, no headlamps or window glass, no fuel cap or radiator cap, otherwise seems fairly complete.
Engine runs, car drives and stops but needs a fair amount of work.

1935 Austin 10/4 Lichfield
|
A first class motor car, which has been restored to an excellent standard.
It has undergone a full, body-off restoration in recent years, including engine rebuild, chassis rebuild, new upholstery, complete repaint in a most attractive mid-blue and black, and new chrome. Recent tyres.
The car retains its original registration number, and has an MoT until May 2012.
This is a superb car - the best 10/4 we have had this year - that drives correctly and looks splendid, you probably won't find a better one for sale at the moment.
Delivery to most areas of the British mainland at very reasonable rates, we are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other pre-war cars.

1928 Ford Model A 4 door
|
Delighful car, and one that 'John Boy' would have been proud of! Known as a leatherback due to its roof construction, the car was imported from dry state California just three years ago, and is therefore corrosion free and there is no filler, in fact the car is almost down to bare metal.
A lot of high quality work has been carried out to the car, including fettling of all the wooden framing, complete new roof and covering, new steering box and links, kingpins, shackle bushes and front wheel bearings. The radiator has been rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned and the whole car has been professionally rewired. The body has been off the chassis, and the underside blasted and painted before fitting and there are five brand new tyres.
The interior needs upholstery, but the seats and frames have been rebuilt and they are up to the hessian stage. We think this car was originally 'valley green', not brown.
The car drives and runs, but the brakes need sorting (parts supplied) and the engine is noisy. This is an excellent left-hand drive car, with most of the difficult bits done, please come and have a look, you will be impressed.
We can deliver at very reasonable rates within mainland Britain, part-exchange welcome for other pre-war cars.

The car drives very well and I would keep it for myself if I wasn't in the business of selling! MoT until May 2012.

We will always consider part-exchange for a pre-war car.

Austin 7 Tourer 1933
|
A really good-looking four-seater tourer, which has been off the road for a number of years.
Three owners from new.
A lot of work was carried out to the bodywork around twenty years ago, but not to the mechanics. It looks to be in sound condition, and the seats have been retrimmed in leather, the hood is sound, and fits well, but is faded as are the side screens.
The car is not running at the moment, but I understand it was fired up not long ago.
It has been converted to 12 volts.
The tyres need replacing, and no doubt, the chassis needs a thorough overhall.
Smashing little car, in our opinion, well worth spending time on, and one not to be missed.
Not for export, good private home required.
Delivery within reason throughout most parts of mainland Britain at economical rates.
