Pumps for Sale

At any one time, the Vintage Petrol Pump Company will have approximately 100 petrol pumps for sale, ranging from the earliest hand-crank pumps of the early 1920s, through the 1930s and 40s, right up to the more familiar pumps most of us remember from the 1950s and 60s. Pumps are restored to order, in the colours/petrol company livery of your choice. The pump you choose will be dismantled and sand-blasted, then it will have several coats of coach paint applied, and will finally be reassembled so that wherever possible, all working parts are functioning again (eg winding mechanisms, dials, counters, motors, pumps).

Pictured below are some examples of pumps before and after restoration.

Manor Road Garage

Manor Road Garage, East Preston - This well-known, Art Deco garage has now been tastefully converted to modern apartments, whilst retaining the original facia.  We, at the Vintage Petrol Pump Company fully restored the four Avery Hardoll petrol pumps that have stood on the site since the 1950s, a requirement of the planning permission granted for the development.  Developers: Globe Estates (Southern) Ltd; Building Contractors: Holmes Building.
The photograph below shows the site and pumps before work began.

Prices for Restored Pumps
It is difficult to quote prices on the website, as these depend on the individual pump you select, and how much restoration work is required – this varies from pump to pump.  As a guideline, however, prices for restored pumps start at £925.
